Standard wooden tabla is paired with a copper bayan. Both are strap tuned. Set includes cushions, covers, tuning hammer. Sajid is renowned for top quality tabla. He hand selects the skins for each head. Each head is manufactured to exact specifications. Then the mounting begins. Sajid will mount and re-mount the head a dozen times to make sure of the proper fit and sound. the beautiful finish onthe bayan has a soft tone and is not a stark copper color.
