Dhol, Synthetic Heads, 14 inches x 24 inches. Wooden two-headed drum with one synthetic head and one goat skin head. Held horizontally, both heads are played with beaters. The shells are manufactured in the northern Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. There locally grown neem and rosewood are used. After transporting to Mumbai the synthetic heads are fitted to the drum shells. Nuts and bolts tune the heads. Made in India.
