Gopichand, tenor, hand painted is used primarily as a folk instrument in the Bangal region of India. Made of split bamboo and wood, tension on the string is changed by bending the bamboo rods, producing the characteristic "boing" sound of this simple instrument.  25" high x 4 1/2" wide.  Design varies.
