Bow is 27 inches long. Rosin for bow (RSNP) sold separately. The name Rebec is derived from the Arabian Rabob. Its origin dates to the 10th century Europe. It is played resting on the shoulder like a violin, across the chest, or tucked in the armpit. The soprano rebec is tuned, low to high, D A E above midddle C. Made in Pakistan.
